PROBLEM
Sure, helping others sounds great, but so does covering rent.
I love helping others through empathy and problem solving. The challenge was finding a way to transform these skills into a sustainable profession.

THE CHALLENGE
1 out of every 1 Suph's want to make peoples' lives better…and buy groceries
VERSION 1
Have a seat, tell me how you really feel
I studied Psychology at York University with dreams of becoming a psychotherapist. I’ve always been great at understanding people and helping them put into words what’s been hard to express, and I love being part of that moment where they finally feel heard.

SORRY, REROUTING
But then a pandemic induced quarter-life crisis hit and I began rethinking things…
VERSION 2
"You should look into UX."
What my friend at the time didn't know was that I got straight 60's in my high school art classes, but I thought it couldn't hurt to give it a chance.

Staying Alive
Jun 1995 - Present
I've always had a passion for making people feel valued and understood.
And it's this passion that has always driven my career aspirations.
I can hold plastic rocks!
I love climbing! It's a perfect mix of physical challenge and problem solving. Plus, the community is so supportive!
Designing for the Community!
I volunteer for a local non-profit community organization where I create graphics and design slides for weekly events!
